how to write eeprom??

buts101 says...

Hello everyone, i'm designing a simple PIC-based number recorder. I'm using PIC16f876A. My PIC kit is connected to a keypad, and i would like to store the numbers into my EEPROM. I'm using ICPROG to program my PIC, and using PCW Compiler to compile the program. I have the working program for my keypad, however, i couldn't find the code to write into eeprom. i've tried writeeeprom but it is undefined...anyone can help? thanx a lot.

Maybe someone on here will have experience with that compiler, but have you tried CCS's support forums? Mike

or maybe just look at the datasheet and figure it out from there. you *might* need to do a couple of instructions in assembly (the voodoo sequence as documented in the DS). It's not at all hard. why don't you try it?
