cc5x and ccs

tps_star says...

I try to verify my code which i wrote in cc5x by using the third party CCS compiler comes with the MPLAB IDE 7.41. I am using the pic device PIC16F876. I check out the list located in this link http://www.ccsinfo.com/devices.php?page=devices ofcourse..! The free compiler supports for the PIC16F876 But when ever i run my code.. i got an error... Error: The selected compiler: "PCM" is not installed on this PC After reading the documents i could realize that we dont need the PCM to run the code with the PIC16F876..what can be the solution..?

Hi, The free compiler, I think is this one:

which doesn't support the 16Fxxx chips. Check for the chips it will compile for. Why not just use CC5x?
