Info needed on the new WT800 ampshuntersouls says... Hi Lane ! Michel here... I was just wandering what the new power rating are for these new amps (WT800 with 4 ohm bridged operation) weknow that they will go down to 4 ohm in bridged mode ant that mostly because people have been asking that for years (thanks Eden by the way) but the main reason people were asking for that is that they wanted to add another 8 ohm cab to their set ups.... But given Eden's cab high power handleling I just want to make sure they will know the max full power of their amp before they go and add another D410XST 1000w cab and thus underpowering their rig (back to square one) Mind you I think that with an amp in the 800w chance are you're gonna run out of hearing before clean juice in most situations anayway... But I would still like to know the low down on the specs...Michel ... riding Low in Lotus Land nandhu015 says... HI, Michel. I responded to your comments in the other thread....and will post David's FINAL ANSWER as soon as I hear from him on the subject. To the best of my knowledge, you'll get 1000 watts at 4-ohm bridge. NO reduction in power at 8-ohm.Keep Thumpin', Lane Edenite and Forum Moderator Ask not what bass can do for you... Ask what YOU can do for bass. www.laneonbass.com djzbor says...
